Taking place on February 4, 2025, Shawnigan’s Giving Day is a celebration of School spirit, generosity, and community engagement. Designed as an inter-House competition, this campaign unites alumni, parents, friends, and staff in a shared mission to support Shawnigan’s vision for the future.

This year for Giving Day, we are supporting three of the School's top priorities.

Scholarships and Financial Aid – Your contribution helps create a diverse, vibrant community while empowering exceptional students to thrive and succeed.

The Head’s Fund – A powerful way to champion our School’s mission, providing unrestricted resources to tackle challenges and embrace new opportunities.

Boarding Houses – Enhance what is undeniably one of the defining features of the Shawnigan Journey: the boarding house experience.

For every donation that you make on Giving Day, you will be asked to allocate a point to a boarding house. The House with the most points at the end of the day (11:59 p.m.) will be crowned the champions, and the current students will receive a special dinner.

Yes! To give to multiple Houses, simply complete separate transactions, selecting one House per transaction/donation.

No! There is no minimum donation required to participate in Giving Day. However, all gifts over $25 will receive a tax deductible receipt. Whether you give $25 or $5,000, your gift makes a difference. We truly believe that it is not the size of your gift that is important. It is your participation in giving that matters most, which is why everyone receives one point towards the House of their choice, regardless of the size of the gift you contribute. No amount is too small to make a difference.
